statement

I occasionally have strange feeling in my daily life. For example, while I wash my hands in bathroom and look into the mirror, I casually think that the reflection of mine seems to be unreal and does not look like myself. In addition, when I am with my friends or even family, although it is a nice and restful time to me, some isolated feeling suddenly comes in my mind for a few seconds. Experiencing this awkward moment, I tried to find a reason, and I related it to a sense of loss.

In my opinion, people play particular roles over a span of the life, since they were born, - as a child, a friend, a parent, as they continue through life. Accordingly, there are not many chances to look for and reflect their personal inner life. As a result, it is likely to live a life expected by the others but not by oneself. Finally, I have had a sense of loss caused by a life lived through roles. The emotion of loss is what I will depict in abstract portraits.
