statement

I look for a dance of patterns, shapes and colors. Although my art is informed by photos, the focus for me isnít necessarily on rendering an object per se, but rather on conveying the aesthetic information created by - and within - the object.

In this way, I think of my works as abstract compositions in the guise of realism, and I use this criteria to inform my choices of what to paint.
