statement
These portraits are the result of physically weaving together separate photographic prints of a single sitter. They are an attempt to bridge honest and direct photographic images of the subject with a rhythmic abstraction, and with the physicality of an object. More notionally, these portraits present their subjects as patterns of data and bits of definition, which ultimately comprise a generalized whole.
