statement

I have always been fascinated with the idea of movement and using gesture drawing to explore the human form.  Drawing quickly leads to unpredictable distortions and taps into something primal that exists in all of us.  The structural marks clarify the figures and provide the composition with a sense of order, just as these fighters are being controlled and contained in their environment.
