My work is largely an interdisciplinary exploration of social systems and habitual methods of perception which frequently functions as humorous interference, a cognitive glitch, or a benign Zen-like prank.
I am interested in prying open and examining the fundamental constructs of perceptions and the democratized space through which meaning might be conveyed or withheld.
Familiar objects, places, images, and words that bear personal significance are appropriated, filtered, and manipulated to create a playfully dissonant sense of estrangement in order to re-catalyze the alteration of conceptual frameworks or rather, to rediscover deeper, intuitive means of understanding.
