statement
This work reflects an accumulation of thoughts, movements and marks that build upon each other and create new terrain. Emotions blow through, reshaping inner landscapes--the ending can't be seen from the beginning. I try to remain a maze to myself when drawing and to create images that exist on the border between figuration and abstraction. I use traditional materials of pen and ink combined with newer materials of video and vinyl to investigate the material object's transition from value to obsolescence.
