statement
Born and raised on a farm in Zimbabwe, I have always been a keen observer of the outdoors.
I started using pencil as a medium whilst at school mainly due to the unavailability of any other materials. I enjoy the directness of pencil as it allows me to express the deep contrast and texture of my subject..
I aim to capture the essence of being in Africa and I am always on the lookout for those moments of light and inspiration. Each piece is a representation of my own personal experience as I always endeavor to "experience" what I draw.
