statement
Attack & Release is part of a series, LIGER, of careful graphite drawings with digital color that display a vibrancy, cuteness, hyper violence, humor and pathos that you often find when watching a wild life documentary.
Drawing inspiration from mythologies, religions, science, parenting, I try to compose new and interesting narratives. I enjoy finding the beautiful and bizarre in the stories and images.
Drawing is the foundation for all of the visual arts. For me it was also it has been one of my favorite things to do since being a child, and being able to use a pencil to make something look "real" still gives me a thrill.
