I've been a printmaker for almost 30 years, only utilizing drawing to make simple preliminary sketches for my prints. Within the last year, I've begun to explore ways to incorporate drawing techniques with my love of printmaking. These two images are part of an ongoing series of portraits which consist of soft ground etching, drawing and chine colle.
