statement
In this series of images I am explore digital collaging techniques with found imagery. The subject matter deals with the phases of man's life, beginning in infancy and growing into old age. During these phases a person interacts differently with the world around himself or herself due to the nature of their developmental phase. This work is an attempt to visualize those experiences.
These images are digital collages (or more precisely digital photomontages) composed of images found throughout the Internet. This process was a personal challenge to create meaningful images without the use of a camera, my primary means of artwork. In a way, this is a comment on the proliferation of digital images on the Internet and the availability of artistic resources that exist.
