Those listed below as previous instructors are mostly Cincinnati-based artists who have taught or led sessions since 2004. Many remain actively involved at the Drawing Center. These are not all the instructors who have taught or will teach at Manifest's Drawing Center. We are continually considering new courses and new instructors to integrate into our program, especially as our curriculum evolves. Special 'master class' workshops by visiting artists are routinely planned across the year. These often involve week-long, or weekend-based intensive courses, and often a public demonstration. Manifest staff, most of whom are also practicing artists and professors, as well as current artists in the Manifest Artist Residency are always on the slate for teaching various courses throughout the year. In 2016 we appointed our first Resident Instructor, Samantha Haring, who continues to serve in this capacity. In 2017 we appointed our second Resident Instructor, with Michael Wilson serving that role in the Photography program. In 2020 we appointed Brad Davis to a second Painting and Drawing Resident Instructor position. In 2022, co-founder Brigid O'Kane was named Resident Instructor in support of our long-running Drawing as Mindfulness class, offered since January of 2018, which she created and has honed week after week. In 2023 Scott Ramming was appointed as fifth Resident Instructor of Painting and Drawing.
